SlimFast has one of the most famous meal replacement weight loss plans on the market. Starting with the original diet shake, the company now manufactures dozens of other products including a variety of shakes, powder mixes, meal bars, breakfast bars, snack bars, high-protein bars and shakes, low-carb bars and shakes and even microwavable soups and pasta entrees.

SlimFast is a flexible, easy-to-follow weight loss diet, with built-in calorie and portion control- it is basically a low-calorie diet plan. Averaging 1200 calories per day, this weight loss plan works because the daily caloric intake is less than the calories needed to maintain your current weight (which is usually around 2000+ calories per day).

The SlimFast Plan consists of six small meals a day:
